I have not bought a case with a PSU included. I haven't looked into the 400W bundle but that definitely seems interesting.

It’ll make a difference for sure, but imo the 1060 6GB is still a good contender. I wouldn’t upgrade just yet

Nope, the GPU fan ran pretty well. The other fans were all running off of molex due to the motherboard's fan headers not working.

The HDD is actually mounted on the inside area facing the backside of the case. It's a 2.5" drive. It's most visible in the 4th pic close to the cables that run from the motherboard. Also thank you!

I actually don't have a good answer for you. It seemed to do fine with temps while I built the PC.

Absolutely do not use a sata to 6 or 8 pin adapter. If you MUST, go for a molex one. But your best bet is just to get a sufficient PSU from the get go.

Turn down the settings maybe? It seems like you have them up way too high. If not for $200 you could probably get a RX 480 or GTX 1070 if you look hard enough.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "How often do you build a gaming pc?"

I've rebuilt/upgraded my personal rig probably 3 times since I built it in 2016. I think it in its current state means I have to hold off on upgrades for a long while... which isn't an issue to me lol. I like building shitboxes more than messing with my main

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Is it risky buying a used gaming PC?"

I mean cases where stuff like that does happen in cases of extreme overclocking I guess? Temps are an issue but you seem to be extremely paranoid about it.

In most cases all you need to do is visually inspect what's being sold to make sure a moron didn't build it and that's it.
