I saw that recommendation on the installation pamphlet. But unfortunately I had already bought the psu. As the saying goes, "If life gives you lemons, squeeze them into a vat and use it to waterboard your enemies.
How do you mean?
I picked that spot because there's space on either side for airflow.
Yeah. I decided to take the ironic route and make an overblown build name.
Scratch n' dent model?
You win at frugality.
Where did you get a 970 video card for that cheap?
Man that looks Purdy. Wait, is that a console controller? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!!!!!
Love that case.
How's the video card?
First: you don't want to string the cords in the main open space like you did. It cuts the airflow, and you want as much as you can get inside the case.
Second: don't be afraid to upload LOTS of pictures. People reference those pictures to see if the parts you are using would work for their build.
Third: how is that video card working for you?
Well I initially wanted it to stay under $800 but I'll be lucky if it stays under 1k.
What kind of games in particular were you playing? Other than metro.
Most of the reviews I've seen for the corsair psu boil down to "it went for a while then it just died. "
Kinda wishing I went cheap with my build.
OR, go to the "completed builds" page and click "create a completed build." Then choose which saved parts list you want to publish.
Well I only pressed for more info because 40-60fps isn't exactly stellar. 40fps in cod isn't even an option. If you have that low of frames, why bother?
All I want for dinner is your soul.
Which games get 30FPS specifically?
Thanks. Now I'm gonna have nightmares.
What kinda games were you playing with that msi 370? Graphics wise.
How's that wireless network adapter working for ya? Im thinking of getting one.
"HDD: It's like my EX. Big, Cheap, but slower than the newer models. It shall serve me well."
Well I play alot of older games so I should be fine. Thanks for replying!
Well I play alot of older games so lag spikes shouldn't be a problem anyways.
How's the gtx960 working for ya?
Thinkin' of gettin' 1.
How's the 960 suiting ya?
I was thinking of getting one.
Get the fig fever yo!
If your worried about cost, for $25 USD you can get a cooler master evo 212. I however am keeping the stock cooler that comes with my cpu (i5 4690k).
Im just a cheap SOB.
My only worry is having all that kindling next to your power unit might get hot and catch fire. Good build otherwise.
+↑ for the cobbled together computer tables. That's something I wood do. -^
Sixth picture in the lineup has what looks like a plugin in the background.
HA! and just for kicks I serched for a mac for $2200 and the closest thing I got was an iMac for $2049 i7 3.1ghz, 8g ram, and 1g vram. Ain't that just pathetic.
And **** Apple. They make great phones (or so I'm told, I don't own one) but their desktops are overpriced pieces of crap. The only people who buy that garbage are pretenchous hipsters who spend $250 on a pair of organically grown pants.
Anyway glad to see it worked out for ya! +1
I have the opposite situation. I have no wife and no money.
Well I saw an electrical plugin and I made a guess. A very poor guess.
Ok then... :s
\(°-°)/ Ok bro, your the boss.
Doritos had topico flavored chips, those things totally shredded man. B-)
Do you live in Australia?
$600 on a monitor? (°_°)
HEATHEN! HE ATTEMPTS TO MAKE A GAME CONSOLE OUT OF A PC. SCOURGE HIM! DRIVE HIM INTO THE SEA!
Installation of the new heatsink was quiet (lol see what I did there) a pain in my side.
Better pics please. Preferably one with an outside case shot from a reasonable distance in good lighting.
