Nope. either try different ports, (DVI-D, HMDI, and Display Port if you can. If you've already tried that, then install your old card and run DDU: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html and select new GPU. That should work. If even that doesn't work, which I highly doubt then try the other PCI-E lane.

Does anyone know how I may use cable combs with cable extensions that cross paths? The fact that they do that annoys me. With custom sleeved cables I know that the combs fit they way they were intended but I don't want to purchase them and they become useless unless I purchase new cable extensions as well.

All CPU's bottleneck because they'll always be a GPU that's faster than it. Yes, there is a bottleneck, however, it not at the point where you can't achieve 60fps in most titles at max settings. I don't overclock my CPU due to my cheap motherboard overheating but I recommend that you overclock your 8320. My friend and I have very similar builds. Except I obviously have an 8350. His overclocked 8320 was right my 8350's *** running at stock speeds.

All GPU's will work with your motherboard. It depends on whether or not it will fit in your case. Those card however, aren't that big. Seeing as though your current card is almost the same size of those 1060's you're good.

That's not a bottleneck, that's optimization. Notice how people with these newer cards only have "bottlenecks" with certain games? Game that aren't much different from others.

Ah thanks man! I'm still adding a few finishing touches such as a GPU bracket and PSU Extensions. I REALLY, REALLY, R E A L L Y, (sorry about that) want to change to color of the heat sink on my GPU. As you can see its aluminum with a copper heat pipes. I want them to be all black. A shiny ✨ black. I've a fair bit of research and found out that anodizing would shoe the best results. I think. Painting it is just not an option, yeah I know its just a few degrees difference in temperature but it just doesn't feel right. I want something more....how do I put this, professionally looking V.S. a 5yr old was given a can of paint

Trust me, I know, I spend a good portion of my day watching comparisons, game-plays and PC builds. Two 970's in SLI will beat a 980 but everyone knows that a single high end card is "better" than 2x lower end cards. Even though I have absolutely NO experience with SLI configs, I have high hopes for DX12 and SLI :D

Yeah no thanks, I'll stick to mid range CPU's and later on High End GPU's. I know that over the years PC components have become a lot more idiot proof but no matter how careful I was during my CPU installation, I ended up bending a pin, I bent it back but man was I scared and upset XD

2x of the drives came from my old pre-built HP desktop 1x Hitachi 1TB and the 500GB By Seagate. I took the 1TB Seagate drive out of an old Dell Desktop. My 500GB is FULL of games, my Hitachi drive has the O/S along with pics and videos on it. Finally, my 1TB Seagate, Recordings of game-plays. Later on Ill replace the 1TB Hitachi drive for a 500GB SSD. I might get 1x 2TB SSD and 1x 1TB SSD too.....IDK yet.

Patience.......patience and people such as yourself are the only thing keeping me from empting out my wallet. I'm in the process of building my dad a PC as well, as far as price/performance goes well be sitting in the same boat. Well both end up running GTX 960's in SLI. I've never owned a SLI rig before and my dad hasn't owned a gaming PC since 2011. This will be a fun experience for the both of us.

Yes man, a balanced build :D Thanks for pointing that out. You know what, I was thinking about doing just that. The thing is Nvidia's unveiling their new line up of GPU's April 5th. I don't see a reason in grabbing one just because it's a new architecture, I mean look at the CPU socket i chose. It's not terrible IMO but it's not the latest and greatest either. It gets the job done and it does it right. Shoot, I like this card so much I might buy another one next month. I'll post an update if I do. I don't mind upgrading the PSU anyways, the connectors are hideous.

How do you know what I think? Most of my friends are white, when they first found out that I was black, they were surprised. Followed up with a "cool" response or "you sound like the whitest black kid ever". Not one of them went to the extent you did. The first thing you said to me was, Did You Steal That? Not, Great job man, that Graphics card you purchased at that price was basically a steal....but no. You didn't. Instead, you began to express you natural thought's versus thinking, then typing.

No you weren't. If you were referring to a particular subject, you wouldn't have included all the parts that factored into the build. Therefore, you're the one attempting to start an argument, one in which you cannot win, for you have already lost. Class Dismissed.

The title has nothing to do with the Jets or flying at all. "Project", because it was my project to build. "Blue", that's my color theme, along with black/white. Finally, "Angel", that's the first word that popped into my head when I was thinking of what to name my PC lol.

I've experienced racism my whole life, if you're going to join the dusty old bandwagon, at least come up with something funny. Otherwise, you and your racist friends can all go live together on some distant planet where there's just enough oxygen for you guys to survive 24hrs. Hopefully, that will allow you guys to ask God for forgiveness and hope that when you die, he accepts you.

1) Place Something Under The GPU To Support It

2) Route the PCI-E Cables Above The GPU To Reduce Slack

3) Get Some Fishing String ("Invisible") And Tie That To The Top Of Your Case

4) PLEASE Consider It!
