It has a USB 3.1 port on the front, no Type C that I can remember

So you can do that, or you can always specify where to download/install items manually when going through the install process. But if you have a large enough M.2 then it doesn't really matter.

Sorry for the slow reply. I play nearly everyday for 2-4 hours. The performance is wonderful, the cooling on the unit is actually very reliable (I bring it up as I was worried about it since it is a FE) and it never has slowed down or wavered. I would give it a 9/10 for performance, 10/10 for bang/buck.

He is in love with it. Honestly from his old Mac trashcan he was using the render time downsized by 5 times the amount.

It's doing fantastically, and honestly bang for buck very good. I am averaging about 28c-36c from idle to gaming.

Thats cool, but using it for virtual ram will speed your gaming up immensely

The first upgrade you will want to do is get a 250 SSD, and use it to created virtual memory (virtual ram) It will speed your boot up when you put the os on there too!

Here is a build I've been keeping up with for a long time, i think you might enjoy it, also the mobo/cpu has to be bought at microcenter for that price, otherwise you could still pay for it and spend less than 500.

The video card might have shorted it, but i remove the card to see if the computer works or not, and it never worked with or without the card.

Well the HDD is very reliable, Seagate makes a very good product, the Optima is a wonderful SSD That I have personally and it works perfectly. If you have any other questions contact me, the reason i chose higher end Peripherals is because they have a longer life, razer is a product that has won Tech Conferences worldwide 4 years in a row, and their CS is perfect. You will never run low on power with that PSU and the Graphics card is my dream card. I actually build pcs for people for a living if you want you can talk to me more and get some advice if you are a veteran or not :)
