*RAM kit was not on offer that i selected for my build here on PcPP,it is a 4 stick kit.
Great ideas thx :) I like the case, but do love the front full dust filter on offer from BeQuiet.I have a Z270E just now and love it,was looking for the upgrade.
My system currently is the previous listed on PCPP, 7700k etc but 2 years old now and starting to rattle after 24/7 use.
Storage you are spot on,but i like the slap it on the MB element, but for sure a premium price right there!
PSU are a bit tricky here in Austria on what you can find, but a solid brand and less money is great too.
RAM again,i guess 16gb should do it but 4 sticks of rgb beats 2 sticks hehe-also prices are crazy right now :(
Thx for looking, will sure take some tips on board as i need to drop the price where i can.
Hi.Used only 2 RAM slots for the build 2x8gb sticks-they are placed in the grey slots,so one over from cpu cooler (Black/Grey x1/Black/Grey x1.No problems at all there. Also i saw reviews on the cooler, and all seemed to point to the Noctua offering great clearance on RAM when placed in the closest slots-so i would say you will be fine with that also.Cooling and sound wise it is crazy quiet as is.I guess partly due to the ASUS fan tune run i gave it-also the GPU -970* not running the cooling fans till it reaches i believe around 50°c or so.I did place a coolermaster 120mm on top as it was here and unused-if i hear a thing,i would point to that being it.Clearance for the cooler is fine-no troubles there either. http://www.bequiet.com/en/case/546
Max.construction height of CPU cooler unit (mm)up to 170.RAM cooling no clue-but again i would side with fits well-seems place a plenty.I removed the driver bay upper rack as a rule for airflow-did not even look to see if the card would have fit before i removed it-knew i would not use it and wanted it gone from the off.Again from the bequiet page--
Upper HDD cage installed (mm)290
Without upper HDD cage (mm)400
Have fun building & Seasons greetings :-)
Hi,i would say so far it has run very well.
Using ASUS AI Suite 3 & Afterburner the readings on idle-web browsing etc both give 28-33°c for cpu.Only used AI suite for an easy clock one time pass to clock 3.6ghz.Runs at about 215rpm and seems great.Hard to find bad reports/reviews on the brand tbh. I would take one again-if the colour is not a factor maybe for windowed pc builds-mine is currently not such-brown is,well cream brown like,if it bothers people. Can't say how the gaming side runs so well,as only tried SWTOR and that has been a pain due to Win 10 and tab out and odd freezing-so left game after 20-30 minutes or so.I saw no problems here either-but did not note temperatures, but sure they were fine. The in game chat said the problems i had were known Win 10 troubles sadly .Runs well, easy fit and quiet is all i can say in the end :-)
If you took Windows 10 pro and the GPU shown-the budget is blown here sadly!
I know you can choose differently-but even your Germany links are not on the ball-this is like €650+ for Germany/Austria etc crazy times.
Guess that is why they are selling PS4 1TB with SW Battlefront for just over €300 now-to keep the builders fingers on the controllers and off the thumbscrews /more demand lower prices theory! :-P
It sure is quiet though and does the job :-)
lol my ssd cost much more than that price shown too...such is life i guess sadly.
(Austria also has a Hard Drive TAX) For Artists and their stolen work.Tax Tax Tax etc
Thx for the comment :-)
2 ssd and an i7 with a gtx 980 Ti and liquid cooling would maybe hope to one day hit the 4/4 haha!
Did slap another cooling fan ontop but (cpu) shows 28-30°c idle web use etc-after an hour or so-yet to push it further, let's see.
Trigger's Broom :-)
Keep on building & Seasons greetings to you.
Hehe Europe-Austria :-) But i am a Brit, and the € is getting crushed buy the £ right now-i was just back home and Ouch!
Sadly in Austria the gtx 980 Ti start at close to €700.Also some won't ship here-the customs/post just love getting into your orders and letting you know they want a chat.
I know what you mean by the price index to performance on the Titan vs 980 Ti,was just in dream land as i wrote :-)
Same for the i7 6700k being around €500+ to buy-or if you want to pay less it can take weeks to get one-as all but sold out here it seems.
