I like bananas because they have no bones.
I wanna build a computer but I have no
I've built 2 computers, working on 2 more, but for some reason the effort to post those 2 is more than I can manage. On the other hand, I still remember most about them, so here they are: 1st Build - Agon * Athlon II X2 240 - Super Cheap Thermaltake CPU cooler (x2 because accidental double-clicking. Oh well, they were $5 each.) - Gigabyte UD USB3 - GeForce GT 710 - 1 x 4 GB DDR3-1600 - DIYPC Alpha-DB6 - Thermaltake TR2 600 - Seagate Momentus 5400 RPM
Big oofs, didn't really know what I was doing, spent too much money but it was for SCIENCE! and I wasn't the one spending money anyway so oh well. It sits in a box now :( I plan to maybe give it new life and put it in something like a Deepcool Tesseract, but IDK this is really old.
2nd Build - Kara Core i5-9400F - AsRock Pro4 ATX - 2 x 8 GB Corsair Vengance DDR4-2666 - GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Gaming X - NZXT H500 - EVGA BQ 80+ Bronze 600W - Intel 660p 512 GB
This time I feel like I knew more what I was doing, looking back I still would've changed some things but live and learn, right? Got 3 120mm fans, but only one has LED and it's blue, so it reminds me of Detroit:Become Human. My friend who commissioned this decided, instead of Connor, chose Kara as the name for the build (disappointing choice). He really likes it, no real problems so far. Probably going to put a Hyper 212 Evo Black RGB in there, as well as a Sabrent Rocket 512 GB (yes, and a heatsink). Other than that it destroys at 1080p, especially after we overclocked the GPU and remembered to change the RAM timings from default. I'm probably going to try to convince him to let me try and tweak the timings a little more, because I bet I could get them down, seeing as how we won't be overclocking the actual RAM speed (motherboard doesn't support it).
Build 3 - Viper (WIP) Ryzen 5 3600 - MasterLiquid ML240R RGB, AsRock X570 Pro4 ATX - Patriot Viper RGB 2 x 8 GB DDR4-3200 - GeForce RTX 2060 Super Gaming OC - MasterBox H500 - EVGA 650 80+ Gold - Sabrent Rocket 512 GB - Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 7200 RPM
Another friend was looking at getting some CyberPowerPC prebuilt. nononoNONONONONo, I said, this is unacceptable. Price was $1369 with 9700K, stock cooler (?), RTX 2060. Basically this but almost no RGB, and bottle necking. Haven't built it yet, actually haven't really sold him on the idea of building it, although I think I can convince him. He's coming from a laptop with a 1050 Ti M.
Build 4 - The Globglogabgalab Ryzen 5 2600 - AsRock Steel Legend B450m - 2 x 8 GB Team T-Force RGB DDR4-3200 - GeForce GTX 1660 SC Ultra - MasterBox Q300L - EVGA BQ 600 80+ Bronze - Sabrent Rocket 512 GB,
Finally, a computer for myself.
