Yeah I built it a few months ago thinking I knew it all with the more cores and ghz were better mentality not understanding that not all cores and ghz were equal. The monitor was a gift so I didn't pick it, I am a Razer fanboy so there is that, I liked the graphics card and still do it has proven very good and runs cool never goes above 60 I get pretty good fps at 4k. As for the hard drive I got the 2 tb because I was going to upgrade it later, and when I bought the ram it was on sale so it was cheap. As for overclocking the cpu it always crashes when I do the smallest overclock so I gave up on that, never worried about the card it is fine for me. Overall I was just being a stupid kid who got the money, and thought I knew it all them ended up jumping the gun on this. I will never buy another AMD cpu, but for the graphics card it doesn't matter to me because they keep trading places all the time with the best card, so whoever has the better card for a decent price I will get, but that is all preference which I don't have one.
I certainly have no room to judge, but I think you should have gone with acrylic or some clear tubing and colored the coolant. Overall very nicely built and I am insanely jealous of the loop!
Wait, is your name Adeline Kane? Hahahahahaha!!!
Nobody gets the joke
I just want to be loved.......
I would also recommend in the future to look into an R9 295x2 because you can do a hybrid crossfire which is pretty cool, and good luck on finding GameCube games I would also suggest Kirby's Air Ride
Congrats on you build, but mostly that collection behind it my only suggestion is more GameCube titles like Sunshine, melee, and maybe Mario party..... Also would you recommend that wireless adapter I was looking into that one myself actually. Also nice choice on the video card I use an r9 295x2 myself!
Thanks for the compliments, and I play Far Cry, Skyrim, Borderlands, Civ 5, and Bioshock Infinite.
I redirected the CPU fan to go downwards instead of the same direction as the GPU fan so that should help I think. I also have two fans on the side panel of the case so that helps a bit, but the case I found is absolutely terrible for fan mounts so I am going to get a new one.
Yeah I was looking into getting an SSD but I didn't want to spend anymore because I felt like I was going overboard on this, and I didn't realize how recommended it was until after but that is the next thing I plan on buying for this build other than a new case.
I like it, but I also think it's not generic enough....
No what you thought was a vent was where a drive cage was. I tried yesterday but to no avail and the top fan helps cool the radiator and CPU also so it's not just warm air being pushed into the radiator there are two fans on the side panel of the case for exhaust also. I would put the radiator there but it would require tons of case work, but I honestly hate the case after buying it, and I wish I got something like a Corsair 750D
