A tale as old as time

But seriously don't let people discourage you from Ryzen. AMD has really brought a great CPU to the market. I'm loving my 1600x atm

Since you're primarily gaming you'll do better with the 7700k for the core speed (extra cores in the Ryzen won't bring much to the table for your needs)

All your games are linked to your account. You can create an account and buy anything you want.

After you've built your rig all you have to is ; - download steam -log into your account -download the games you've purchased.

p.s. you can download beforehand and then back them up to an external hard drive (steam tab /backup) Happy Gaming !

Nice overclock dude. Lovin my ryzen 1600x and its price&performance. AMDs unlocked CPU range really encourages enthusiasts to milk the hell out of the cores (which you've done well) . A+

Nice build .Are they the fan cables going across the mobo ? Use the cable holes at the top of the case and route it behind.

So from the pics did you go from an air cooler to a custom water loop and then a AIO ? As the previous comment asked what kind of things are you using the build for ?

Nice build in the end though .

Nice first build! You should provide more pictures of your overall setup. I would buy a 144hz monitor next to really get the most out of your GPU.

Think they should of really pushed for the 60fps on a shooter. 4k on a FPS is great if you can push 60 or more frames imo. Doubt the Scorpio will exceed the 30fps cap due to the risk of outshining exclusive Sony.

Elephant in the room for me is the lack of dedicated servers. For a 2017 AAA title that is a money grabbing joke

So is this your first build? You said you originally bought this certain mobo, cpu and cooler and then you changed it heavily. An upgrade from a first build ?

I find it surprisingly cool even when gaming (below 60) . To be fair I'm not exactly pushing the system to its potential on a 60hz monitor.

Did you think of getting the ryzen cpu for your workload? The 7700k will smash most tasks you give it I'm just curious.

Hey man I chose this mobo due to favourable reviews and the higher memory speed (articles have mentioned the performance benefit of faster ram memory with ryzen).

Yes it has a red LED strip on the left hand side and some back lighting.

I ended up putting it at the rear of the case after originally having it at the front. I left the picture in there to possibly brainstorm which placement you think would be most beneficial.

Thank you, I'm loving pc gaming !
