Be curious why the OP went with that much ram . Its a lot of money for memory

Forum Topic "Ryzen v Intel"

AldoApache 1 Build 1 point 21 months ago

A tale as old as time

But seriously don't let people discourage you from Ryzen. AMD has really brought a great CPU to the market. I'm loving my 1600x atm

Forum Topic "Ryzen 7 1700X or i7-7700K"

AldoApache 1 Build 1 point 21 months ago

Since you're primarily gaming you'll do better with the 7700k for the core speed (extra cores in the Ryzen won't bring much to the table for your needs)

ZayusYenn's Completed Build: New Gaming Setup

AldoApache 1 Build 1 point 21 months ago

Nice setup which you can upgrade from later . +1 dude

Forum Topic "Steam Questions"

AldoApache 1 Build 1 point 22 months ago

All your games are linked to your account. You can create an account and buy anything you want.

After you've built your rig all you have to is ; - download steam -log into your account -download the games you've purchased.

p.s. you can download beforehand and then back them up to an external hard drive (steam tab /backup) Happy Gaming !

Andre21's Completed Build: AMD Ryzen 1600

AldoApache 1 Build 2 points 22 months ago

Nice overclock dude. Lovin my ryzen 1600x and its price&performance. AMDs unlocked CPU range really encourages enthusiasts to milk the hell out of the cores (which you've done well) . A+

Mokpok's Completed Build: Any Colour So Long as it's Black

AldoApache 1 Build 1 point 22 months ago

Nice build .Are they the fan cables going across the mobo ? Use the cable holes at the top of the case and route it behind.

mikepronin's Completed Build: Ryzen RGB of beauty

AldoApache 1 Build 1 point 22 months ago

So from the pics did you go from an air cooler to a custom water loop and then a AIO ? As the previous comment asked what kind of things are you using the build for ?

Nice build in the end though .

BlitzKnightRiley's Completed Build: My First Custom Built PC (Literally)

Looks like a nice build (literally) :P . Pics of the interior ?

Klown420's Completed Build: First build ever

AldoApache 1 Build 3 points 22 months ago

Nice first build! You should provide more pictures of your overall setup. I would buy a 144hz monitor next to really get the most out of your GPU.

Forum Topic "Destiny 2"

AldoApache 1 Build 2 points 22 months ago

Think they should of really pushed for the 60fps on a shooter. 4k on a FPS is great if you can push 60 or more frames imo. Doubt the Scorpio will exceed the 30fps cap due to the risk of outshining exclusive Sony.

Elephant in the room for me is the lack of dedicated servers. For a 2017 AAA title that is a money grabbing joke

Still trying to fill the void in my life after I completed the game .

JGRAHAM3364's Completed Build: My first gaming PC

So is this your first build? You said you originally bought this certain mobo, cpu and cooler and then you changed it heavily. An upgrade from a first build ?

mieimsa's Completed Build: Uncle's Build

AldoApache 1 Build 1 point 23 months ago

Same mobo and I had problems with my corsair 3200 . Even after tweaking I still can't get it to its intended speed (2900 atm) . Hopefully the bios updates can fix this issue

AldoApache's Completed Build: Ryzen Up (First Build)

AldoApache submitter 1 Build 2 points 23 months ago

I find it surprisingly cool even when gaming (below 60) . To be fair I'm not exactly pushing the system to its potential on a 60hz monitor.

Nicholas0628's Completed Build: Project ALPHA - My First Build

AldoApache 1 Build 2 points 23 months ago

Nice build ! Wish I was building PCs at your age.

michaelford's Completed Build: Yellow Jacket

AldoApache 1 Build 2 points 23 months ago

Nice build! Love the combination of NZXT cooler and case A+ . In response to your CAM software not working try putting it into another mobo USB slot, update drivers, reinstall software etc

Azphreal's Completed Build: First sub-$1000 Ryzen

AldoApache 1 Build 2 points 23 months ago

Nice budget build with the Ryzen. If you dont need a serious gaming pc you did it right with the CPU and high speed ram.

Interesting keyboard and mouse as well .

Snipeon's Completed Build: Troll under my desk

Viking1993's Completed Build: Odins Wrath PT II

My only complaint is that you have no ice cube tray in the case. You got to effectively use all that cooling

stankyee's Completed Build: Design student's workstation/some gaming (first build)

AldoApache 1 Build 2 points 24 months ago

Sweet build ! Nice alternative fan placement on the radiator.

Did you think of getting the ryzen cpu for your workload? The 7700k will smash most tasks you give it I'm just curious.

AldoApache's Completed Build: Ryzen Up (First Build)

AldoApache submitter 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

White pc builds always remind me of the planet Hoth from Star Wars for some reason . I have no idea why lol

AldoApache's Completed Build: Ryzen Up (First Build)

AldoApache submitter 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

Thanks man! I'll look into the exterior management.

AldoApache's Completed Build: Ryzen Up (First Build)

AldoApache submitter 1 Build 2 points 24 months ago

Hey man I chose this mobo due to favourable reviews and the higher memory speed (articles have mentioned the performance benefit of faster ram memory with ryzen).

Yes it has a red LED strip on the left hand side and some back lighting.

AldoApache's Completed Build: Ryzen Up (First Build)

AldoApache submitter 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

Haven't listen to blessthefall since high school haha. To hell and back was a dope song ;)

AldoApache's Completed Build: Ryzen Up (First Build)

AldoApache submitter 1 Build 1 point 24 months ago

I ended up putting it at the rear of the case after originally having it at the front. I left the picture in there to possibly brainstorm which placement you think would be most beneficial.

Thank you, I'm loving pc gaming !
