Nice build! With the front mount AIO, do you still have space to mount the HDD on the floor of the case via the provided cages?
Nice build! Where do you have the cooler mounted? If it's on the front, do you still have space to mount the HDD on the floor of the case via the provided cages?
Are you still able to fit the HDD drive cage on the floor of the case with the 360mm AIO in front?? Nice build!
How is the RAM clearance using the 360mm rad at the top? Is it tight? Also, any reason you didn't use the drive cage at the floor of the case for the HDD?
Nice build! I was thinking of switching to this case, but wanted to know how the clearance was on the x72 vs. your TridentZ RAM? I was either going to run the 360mm cooler at the front if I can still use the HDD drive cages, and if not top mount.
Nice build, have the same GPU and love it. I am looking to switch to this case, and was wondering if with your 360mm rad if there is enough room for the HDD bay on the floor of the case to I can put my 2 HDD's in there using the included cages?
"if you need alot of HDD space AND space for a 360mm front radiator its not for you" So does this mean that the bottom two HDD slots will not fit with a 360mm rad?
Can you still fit the bottom HDD cage with the 360mm cooler? Looking to switch to this case. Nice build!
Considering getting this case but a dealbreaker for me is if I can fit my 360mm AIO and the bottom HDD cages? How do you have yours set up?
Already did that once as I stated in the post. I've started the RMA process for the cooler, figure I would rather do that than keep guessing lol
Yeah RMA is underway, hopefully it doesn't take forever lol. And yeah it was fun to build, thanks for the insight! Also, nice Fractal case, looks cool with your build.
Yeah I'm starting the RMA process now.
"I have two of the LL 140 fans at the top, and the one near the radiator actually is pressing on the hoses slightly. There's just not enough room for the AIO hoses to clear the fan frame." Came to find out this information and you provided! Thank you and awesome build and description, +1
How tight of a fit was it with two 140mm on the top and the AIO cooler? Same case just have a 240mm AIO looking to upgrade. Nice build +1 for sure.
Thanks for the reply and sorry for my delayed response! Thanks for the information about the 150i I will keep that into consideration. I love the stream deck too! I do occasionally notice the glare but I use different usually lighter or darker color schemes to negate that depending on my enviornment and it usually works pretty well. Probably next for me would be the hybrid kit for my FTW 3. Temps aren't bad but I do notice some 75+ C temps while at 1440p 165hz so I would like to see by how much the hybrid kit would decrease the temp. Cheers!
Wow, awesome build. So clean! If I could have done mine over again, I would have went with the hybrid FTW3 as well. I have a 240mm H100i V2 in mine, it sits at the bottom two fans in a push configuration because I had trouble fitting the radiator hoses around the 2 140mm fans up top. Did you experience any trouble like this with the H150i PRO? I have been looking at one of these for my build. Same case and pretty much same configuration. Once again, awesome build +1 for sure.
That's the elegato stream deck. Device used for switching between scenes and other functions while streaming to twitch or recording. Thanks!!
Yeah it all looks cool, but its what inside that matters haha;)
Haha, gotta love it!
What's the purpose of the Commander PRO? I see you have no fans attached, just using for a USB hub? Nice looking build!
Yeah they pretty much all stay around the same surprisingly. I have a 1080 Ti FTW 3 and it has the same temps, never rising above 77 degrees C.
Was originally going to go with the R7 but decided It was a good place to make a price cut because the PC was mainly going to be a streaming/video rendering PC and I wasn't going to do any high hz monitor gaming on it. I agree, I wish the inside was white and I might paint it that way or even red.. I love my i7 7700K proc in my gaming rig but I needed more cores for a cheaper price for this one and AMD was able to provide!
Thanks! I was looking for something that had the functionality I needed with a cool appearance.
At max load using FurMark, I get average 68 degrees C, never goes any higher than 75. I had the 1070 iCX for my first gaming build, loved that card!!
UPDATE: I have done many modifications since this, and will upload a new completed build soon!
Let me know how the custom loop comes along, have been thinking of one myself
Awesome thanks for your help!
Yup with the same case I am had that same trouble with my h100i V2. So you used the 3 front 120mm stock fans with the 570X how did you mount the X62 to the case? I understand so far that you have the 140mm x62 stock fans running pull while the 120mm fans are running push. I just want to know how you were able to mount the rad to the front of the case considering that it is supposed to mount with 140mm fans.
Is that X62 mounted on the front? and if so are you using it with the two 140mm fans on the radiator and then a 120mm fan for the top?? I'm looking at the X62 with the same exact case and front setup but I'm not sure about how I can mount it on the front with 2 140mm fans (the radiator) and 1 120mm fan. Awesome build!
They did, now if you can grab one in stock is a different story. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/crystal-570x-psu-shroud-cover
Nice build! Looking at upgrading to that GPU, how much space between the H100i V2 and the FTW 3?
Pretty much have the same build but looking to put a 1080 Ti in mine, how much clearance between the 1080 and the fans of the H100i V2?? Nice build, I always love a neat looking 400C.
Nice build! Pretty much did the same exact build. What kind of CPU temps are you seeing with the H60? If you wanted to, the H100i V2 fits perfectly on the front and looks nice. +1 hope you're having a blast with it!
That sucks that you're having MB problems. Nice 400C build though and I'm sure you're not disappointed. +1 mate!
If you do that, look at the Gigabyte Gaming K5, awesome board for an awesome price. Nice build and don't worry too much about the m.2 i'm sure you're getting awesome boot times with that EVO. +1
Awesome build! HUE+ always looks good no matter what PC you throw it in. Why Win 10 Pro? Unless you're using a domain I can't see any other reason to stretch the extra $ unless you really did get it for $8. Otherwise solid build +1 from me, hope you're having fun with it!
Honestly I love the straight black look you've got here, very aesthetically pleasing. I also just made the jump from console. +1 for looks and good part selection!
I've got a GB Gaming K5 and I maybe have 1 mm of room with my 400C so i feel your pain. used it to hide a cable pretty well though.
Thanks! Well worth the time and money, has been running flawlessly since build!
I have changed this since, when I built it i was too eager to play to fix it right then haha.
