A lot of nice parts chosen.

Are you upgrading that GPU eventually? I'd say a lot of your other parts are well above that GPU level.

It looks beautiful. I like the look.

You have 509 pictures. LOL. I just looked at the first few. Usually I tell people that they need more pictures. But I guess that is not the case here.

Yes but it is a budget build. So for the price range that they were trying to do here it is not that bad.

I get what you are saying. It is expensive to upgrade all the time. I have tried to make technology last many times in my life.

But if money was no object I would try to build a new computer about every 3 years. Every year or 2 is expensive. 5 years is really long and the technology changes. 3 is about the right range for a new build.

I had some ram that failed on a Dell system. But the power supply still works. I think a CPU failure is somewhat rare. Although it is catastrophic.

Comment reply on henrychan's Completed Build: 15 year old first build

So what would be initialized first? What type of hard drive would you want and where would you want to attach it to the motherboard for the fastest boot time?

Comment reply on henrychan's Completed Build: 15 year old first build

In a half decade this will be ancient and obsolete technology. But it is pretty good right now.

Comment reply on henrychan's Completed Build: 15 year old first build

The power supply is a little low as others said. Probably upgrade that.

I have 7200 RPM of that capacity level. You can definitely get them. Of course the SSD drives which are great. But you can get an HDD of a much faster version also. The best of both worlds.

Comment reply on Dead00101110's Completed Build: Ven-Fus

Some nice parts in your build. You probably want a 7200 RPM hard drive instead of 5400 which is of course slower. 5400 RPM is often used for security camera recording. But a lot of nice parts otherwise.

What monitor are you using here?
