Great CPU! Fast multi-threaded processor; makes my MacBook Pro (Skylake 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 processor) look like a snail. Perfect for my creative work and hobbies. I do graphic design and art, using software like VUE R3 and Blender. I write as a hobby and I create my own digital art for my writing projects. I also do some light video editing, graphic design work using Adobe Suite. Interesting CPU to OC . . . I am still tweaking and learning some new things.

Great performance and price! The Ryzen 9 platform brought a wonderful experience to this build. 12-Cores was a welcoming addition to video editing and it is a rendering beast! Especially while multitasking from different applications for content creation.

    A solid processor.

Insane performance for $500. There are some issues being an early adopter, but they aren't significant. Unless of course, you want to play Destiny 2...

Way overkill for my purposes but has been a beast, tackling anything I've thrown at it with ease.

Well it's hot and it has a bunch of threads and I can get a stable all core overclock of 4.32 ghz+ but only if I give it like 1.43v which makes it run even hotter so I don't do that and it can do the blender bmw cpu render in a 1:50 but also it's just so hot like if you don't NEED 12 cores maybe get a 3700x instead?

Great CPU for the price! I would recommend it to a friend over a 9900K. Even though the 9900K is 6% better at 1080p, the difference is basically unnoticeable at 1440p.

Amazing processor. I'm using it for editing with Davinci Resolve and it has been a champ so far.

Nice to split up for VMs, could have gone with a 3700X if it was purely gaming.

Very powerful processor and surprisingly efficient. I have been able to overclock this thing to 4.45ghz at 1.35v on all cores. Temps usually hang around 30-40 at idle and around 75-80 at full load with the Kraken x72 (at the 4.45ghz overclock). I bought this for longevity and I think it will be able to handle anything I throw at it for a pretty long time. I have not tested it for video rendering yet even though that is why I bought it but I have no doubt it will handle it with ease.
