Boots windows in seconds. Makes the entire computer feel lightning fast. Don't go without an SSD!

Very solid budget SATA SSD. I use it for my Manjaro system partition plus a couple games, along with some HDDs for my home directory and other games. If you're not doing anything that requires huge numbers of writes constantly (like content creation), this drive is more than enough. I have almost no loading times for the games on this drive, and Manjaro Linux boots almost as fast as my Arch Linux partition which I have on an NVME drive. Arch on the NVME goes from BIOS to login screen in about 4 seconds, Manjaro on this Crucial SSD does it in about 5.5-6. Same with the games, I have Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order on the NVME, and RE2 remake and DOOM 2016 on this Crucial drive, and load-times are indistinguishable between the two drives.

I never cared to look at the speed ratings or anything. It is a budget SSD so regardless it is considerably faster the any HDD and it boots fast.

Definitely not the fastest, but it works well enough.

Purchased new for $28 from Microcenter.

The drive is good and it works flawless, but the speeds are a little slow when it comes to reading/writing. I also do not like how the software does not give adequate readings for S.M.A.R.T and temperatures. I took the star from Crucial for their software not being too friendly.
