A lovely monitor after calibration, not perfect for gaming as a bit of ghosting can be seen with very fast movements. The colours and quality of still images however is simply incredible and I would be happy to keep this monitor for years to come.
Originally the plan was to have three "cordless" daisy chained bezelless monitors for my desktop, but I was only able to buy 2. The colors are very subtle, and the monitors are stunning looking. I ended up getting the third monitor for free, so instead faked having it as my third, bezelless monitor in the middle. The colors are a bit brighter and sharper, so I tend to game on it, even though it has occasional ghosting. Free is free, and I'm not going to complain. Triple 1080 Is more than enough for me currently, and if I went any larger, I would run out of room on my desk. 2K and 4K can wait.
Beautiful color, tiny side bezels, great for Photoshop, pretty good for gaming. The bottom bezel could be thinner but my brain cancels it out once I get into whatever I'm doing.
This nearly zero bezel monitor is absolutely wonderful for multi-monitor setups, the color reproduction is great, and I there is absolutely zero ghosting, extremely low input delay, quick signal processing if any is even present, and the picture is crisp. Games look stunning on this monitor! I have it overclocked to 80 Hz and it is as smooth as I could ever ask for.
Great colors, small bezels.
Had this monitor for a few years now, been great so far.
Unfortunately they are giving me serious issues... All 3 of them. I would not recommend them. They will not stay connected to the PC. They disconnect at random times and then I have to either:
a) turn it off and on, if that doesn't work then:
b) unplug and replug the DP cable, then
c) unplug and replug power cable, then:
d) switch from DP to DVI or visa versa.
From my research its an issue only with this monitor and Nvidia cards. One of them has a line of dead pixels along the bottom and another has a shorter line of vertical dead pixels near the center of the screen. I am never buying another Dell.
These are decent monitors for work and play. They're IPS and 24" 1080P is the best size. I've had larger 1080P monitors (27") and they look horrible. Gamers will want higher refresh than this, but work is priority for me over gaming. NV Surround (triple monitor) gaming is fantastic though.
It's okay with good monitors for a triple, something wrong with my monitors look like calibration color RGB is okay, grey and black looks not right with paper calibration report, not the same other monitors look like low gray.
