As everybody does, went a bit overboard on the wattage. I wanted at least a gold rated PSU, and around this price, semi-modular it was, which is perfectly fine. Doesn't get hot, stays quiet, provides consistent power.

Probably over the top for my needs, so i was future proofing myself a bit.More cables that you could shake a stick at. Great quality as i would expect, the only thing that caught me out was i needed a 4 pin for the motherboard, and only had an 8 pin plug, didn't realize this split in 2 so it could be used on smaller boards.

I want a gold certified fully modular PSU but it can't go with my budget so I went with a semi-modular.

I've been using this PSU for about a year now and it works great, I plan to upgrade to an HX1000i so I can use my braided cables and possibly sli but wokrs great in the meantime.

Plenty of power for enthusiast gaming rigs, don't sell out for a fully-modular PSU because this one only comes with a 24pin and 8pin cables attached which everyone needs anyway

The small size is a huge plus with this case, used the additional space for cable management. Fan has been audible, and it stays relatively cool.
