A BEAST for gaming!! I run most games at 60-70 fps with this because of the overclocking headroom. And those ring LEDs, man..

i know we met with new nvidia products ( 1070 1080 ) but they have new technology and i thnk they need time to work on them.. in my opinion a product which has 3-4 years history on same technology has better stability and has less issues although pascal technologhy clocks are real faster than maxwell tech.

Amazing card, RGB leds are bright and very customizable, the fans keep this cool while gaming, haven't played a game yet that was under 60 fps at 1080p.

Everyone will go on and on about how Nvidia screwed over 970 owners with only 3.5GB of actual VRAM. However, it's not that big of a deal. This thing scored an 8.8 on Steam VR test. It will destroy anything at 1080p that you throw at it. It stays below 65C in my system under full load. I can't ever hear it make noise and it's been reliable since day one. Now that the new GTX1070 has come out, I'd recommend going that route. But if these come down a bit in price or you can find one used, I highly recommend it.

VIDEO CARD - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB - Good looking video card especially the leds. This fit my budget and the kind of games i'm playing right now. Might upgrade to 1080 in the near future that was just released recently.

high base/boost clock, overclocks decently (not a ton since stock speeds are oc'd), cool rgb, kicks *** for 1080p at 60fps. 3 fans, always cool, quiet. huge, but i love it, just make sure it fits your case

I've had this card for a bit over a year and still don't feel like upgrading. Still meets all my needs for 1080p.

In regards to the Windforce series in particular I'm really impressed with how far Gigabyte has come along. This version performs like a 980. Not crazy about the RGB software but you don't seem to need to keep it on your computer - I was able to set the color once and the CMOS seems to remember it.

Is able to handle all of the games that I play in 1440p at high frame rates (~300 in CS:GO @ max settings, low noise and temps)

The best looking graphics card ever. Not only dose it look good it is super fast running at 1.5 GHz almost 500 MHz over the base. The large cooler keeps it under 60 C. The software is amazing and works perfectly for overclocking and the RGB settings. The fans are so quiet i never hear them. It had by far the best boxing out of all the parts i bought.
