Unreal card. Able to play most games 1080p High settings at over 60fps. With Freesync this card is great. The Nitro+ looks good as well, with the RGB logo to spice up your build. I was able to overclock this to 1450MHz on the core, it stays cool with Sapphire's automatic fan curve and even is passively cooled when doing non-intensive tasks like browsing the web. Radeon Relive is another good selling point for AMD vs the GTX 1060. Intuitive UI and quality recording.

This card is clean. Silver and black backplate with RGB Sapphire logo on the side (which can be turned off).

So I benchmarked the card in 3dMark against my Gigabyte R9 390x (which is not on the latest drivers since it's a POS that I can't wait to replace):

Card (Graphics Score Only) FireStrike SkyDiver Time Spy
    Gigabyte R9 390x 13452 16158 4162
    Sapphire RX 480 8GB NITRO+ 13857 42351 (???) 4331

So oddly scored higher than my 390x, which is likely due to driver issues than anything else.

Seriously, don't buy a Gigabyte GPU. The SkyDiver test kept giving me ridiculous scores for the 480, but it did run smoothly so I don't know what that's about.

Love this card. Originally was going to go for a GTX 1060 3gb, but saw this around the same price and went for it. 8gb of VRAM will be plenty for a while. The speeds are a little less than the 1060 but the overkill on VRAM DX12 optimization is worth it.

Features a very modern looking backplate and the RGB SAPPHIRE logo on the side.

Handles even poorly optimized early access games very well. AMD's redesigned Wattman OC software works great as well of an extra boost. Might switch to MSI Afterburner for OCing though.

Good quality. Fan 2 failed prematurely but Sapphire took care of it within a week. Maxes out everything at 1080p 60+ frames.

This thing is an absolute BEAST of a card, great for starters, it has LED lighting on the side, and performs amazingly in almost all games I've thrown at it on ultra settings.

    I'm using an MSI gaming x rx480 8 gb and a Sapphire nitro+ rx480 8gb

I would not recommend going for crossfire as titles that take advantage of it are limited. That being said, i like my setup and would not sell them for a single card around €600 (1070?) if i could. I am, however, very curious about the rx490 ...
