Absolutely lovely motherboard to work with. A plethora of options and tweaks, sufficient number of USB ports on the back and stunning looks.

She's a fat one, but if you shoehorn her in just right, you can fit your graphics cards anyway. Some early BIOS issues lead me to take away a star, however.

MB is great and really aesthetically pleasing. I also like the bios and how easy it is to adjust and play with.

A simple UEFI BIOS, an elegant design, and RGB's cause a e s t h e t i c. The board come's with ton's of features I'll never use, and built in WiFi. The simple black/gunmetal look matches any build and the RGB's are customizable. And the box looks nice.

Fantastic mobo. The RGB color system and the PCI shield look great. The Dr. Debug has been a HUGE help.

The motherboard itself is fairly decent, though the orientation of the connectors for things like USB make it really hard to connect things with the board mounted inside the case. I lost use of its USB 3.0 internal connector because of it.

That said, it has 3 stars because ASUS driver and software is awful and buggy.

I looked at a lot of mobo's before I decided on this one. What I liked about it was the Aura software, the RGB on the board, all the rear USB ports, and all the protection. This also came with built in WiFi and bluetooth, which was very important to me since I use my computer for work and if the Ethernet port flaked out or something that secondary option would be critical to continue my work.

I give this board 5 stars because of all its features. I did receive a board from Newegg that had two bad DIMM slots. It wouldn't post with slots A1 and A2 populated, but would work with B1 and B2. I might have been okay with this had I only gotten 16gb of RAM, but I got 32gb, so I needed all four slots to work. I then went ahead and RMA'd the board to Newegg. After frantically searching for all my accessories that came with the board I shipped it back. The RMA process with Newegg is really quite good. They provided the shipping label and all I had to do was print that and an RMA label out, drop it at FedEx, and wait for it to be received. I got my replacement mobo back two days sooner than expected which made me really happy!!

This also came with an M.2 mount and screw, so no trip to the hardware store!! I appreciated this as I'd read some reviews of Samsung M.2's where the mobo didn't have any mounting hardware for it and they had to go to the hardware store to get a screw.

This motherboard looks good and allows me to overclock the i5-7600k to 5.1 GHz (possibly more but I stopped there). For comparison, the MSI Gaming M3 I previously owned couldn't go past 4.9 GHz stable. I managed to get it open box for a really good price, $176 after taxes, but unfortunately it has a dead DIMM slot. I'm not going to count this towards my score however as again it was open box and I could've RMA'd through Asus; I just don't want to deal with it. As it stands, I'll continue on 16 GB for a few years then upgrade to a new platform, so I don't think the RMA is worth the time I would not be able to use the PC.

While I think this is a great looking motherboard, the plastic shroud that covers important locations like the VRM heatsink is detrimental to thermals. However its biggest fault is having only 1 USB header. This should be unacceptable for a motherboard of this price. I actually had to buy the NZXT Internal USB Hub to accommodate my parts. This was very disappointing, but I can still give it 3 stars.
