These things sound AWESOME. I switched from Turtle Beach Stealth 600's on the PS4 and those had great audio for gaming and music, and these match that and more. Way more. I didn't know what crisp audio was until these. Pretty expensive though, and the DAC isn't necessary because you can control all the audio through Steelseries Engine software. Full customization for the RGB which is around the earcups and the end of the mic, which is retractable. The mic sounds incredible too, my friends tell me that my voice is crystal clear.

Excellent sound quality, both from the microphone and headphones. The sound is bright and clear and it handles the bass notes very well. Compared the sound to my Arctis 3 headset and it miles better. It was easy to setup and it has been easy to customise the RGB effects and sound balance using the GameDAC.
My only criticsm would be the metal headband which has a fair degree of tension that pushes the bottom of the cans inwards. This has resulted in the odd occasion of discomfort round the bottom of my ears which was easily remedied by just taking off the headset for a few seconds.

Amazing Sound! I have had 2 Razer headsets and they dont hold a candle to the quality and sound these bad boys put out. Crystal clear game chat and adjustable sound settings (huge plus for me) Stock settings are also great for non experienced users. Price tag makes this a very high end model when comparing. This is more ideal for the serious gamer who is looking to achieve that slight upper hand with high quality sound. If you are looking for budget look at other Arctis headphones.
