Great card from Sapphire which will easily tide me over until VEGA comes along

This card... wow. I OC'd this thing to 1400MHz easily, and it is a monster. Amazing backplate too!!!

I have done enough research to know that this is the best bang-for-buck GPU out there right now. Pairing this with the 1700...everything is butter. Everything. Now I don't do video editing, but from what I have researched and from reviews, it kills that as well. I am not experienced enough yet to know if this thing is doing temps well. But...I have had no kind of frame-rate issues. None. I mean, its under $300. And it kills everything you throw at it. Get yourself a freesync, 144mhz. 1080 monitor. And love life.

When i saw pictured of the Rx 480 nitro i was impressed with how well this card looked, it also performs well at 1080p ultra settings. I do however plan to upgrade to the 1080ti or possibly Vega 10 IN Q1 2017 will just have to wait and see :)

This card is at least as fast as an R9 390, but uses a little over half the power (150 W TDP). In DX11 it's not quite as fast as the GTX 1060, but driver updates do slightly boost performance. My biggest beef with it is that in order to get it to run cool and quiet, you need to undervolt (yes, on an aftermarket card) and change the fan curve. If you find it on sale, buy it!

Solid performance 4K@60 Freesync in most games I've tested, great bang-for-buck GPU, fans are a little weedy for the TDP but run quieter than the Noctua fans on my CPU cooler

Great board but fans aren't as quiet as some of the competition. Mine's sitting happy at 1375/2100, slightly undervolted. I can push it further but the gains were minimal so I reeled it back a bit.

Died on me at the absolute worst time. Sapphire has non-existent support. Can't justify giving it praise even though it was a solid card.
