Good Motherboard. Boots up very quickly. Decent amount of fan headers.

Plenty of Fan headers, and BIOS are easy to navigate.

Why 4 stars?? The 'Z270 PC MATE' badge in the middle of the board looks like it has a removable plastic sheet that needs to be removed. Wrong... Removing this will actually remove the text as well.. There is no protective coating, and it looks cheap.

I had this board laying around waiting for an upgrade to my current gaming PC, however, after realizing how basic this board is, I didn't want to use it as an upgrade anymore. I hate the BIOS, and the fan headers are in pretty weird places, but it's got 2 M.2 headers. Also, for some reason, it loses all of the drivers if the machine crashes, MSI really should figure out how to have that in an on board profile like Asus. I recommend getting an Asus, an ASRock, EVGA, or even Gigabyte/Aorus over MSI every time.

Has two internal usb 3 headers, allows for OC of ram and CPU, has more expansion slots than I plan on using, and has several M.2 slots if I ever need to use them.

Some USB ports don't work well or don't work at all. Difficult to tell if it's a software issue or MOBO issue.

Found it as an open box deal on newegg. It works great and has more than enough internal ports for my needs. Even has two m.2 slots if I ever get around to upgrading to a m.2 drive.
