from completed build The Fort Knight

The most time consuming aspect of the build was deciding on this! Was torn between this and a GTX 1060. This won in the end so that I could take advantage of the FreeSync monitor which was going for dirt cheap!

It's a really nice looking card when it's in the case, and the feedback I've gotten from my cousin is good!

from completed build First PC Build - Mid-Level

The GPU is wonderful. I haven't run into any issues with it yet, and it performs very well. I have yet to figure out how to overclock it significantly, but messing with the fan curve in Afterburner helped me keep the temperature under control. The default fan curve isn't good at all for it and usually reaches 70-80C before turning it up to 100%.

nice rx 580 not same build quality like other but very good one, like the backplate, very powerful card for the price.

It's not as powerful as an nvida card, but it seems to have some good smoothing and FPS highs. I've tested it on Overwatch and it's pretty smooth, I'll try streaming/ game recording and see what happens

from completed build Fidget Spinner Build

RX 580 is still such a steal if you can get it for sub $150. It gets hot but that's mainly the fault of the fans and case. It looks really nice when painted. I don't think XFX realizes that where I am it's illegal to put stickers that "void the warranty" when removed though.

from completed build First Time AMD Build

I can play games on medium-high settings on new titles. Just a bit loud when the fans are at 70% speed.

8gb of vram at this price is fantastic! Runs super quiet cause of fanless Idle Temps.

from completed build Second Gaming Rig

Bought this second-hand. Great GPU for a mid-level build. Runs all my games at great FPS, but nothing too fancy. May crossfire with my other GPU in the future.

from completed build My First Respectable Gaming PC

I'm in the process of building a Mini ITX system that will be my traveling companion/home HTPC, and my faithful RX 570 will be going into that. Of course, this meant that my main rig was in need of a replacement. I decided to stick with Polaris, since it is an affordable, proven architecture. This RX 580 was for sale used for $100 (came out to about $125 with shipping and taxes) and it's a great card. Solid performance and no card sag. Temps are great as well. Don't let the age of Polaris cards be too big of a deterrent; if you're on a budget and need a good graphics card, a used RX 570 or RX 580 is a fantastic buy and will play anything under the sun with ease.
