Performance to dollar this little guy is fantastic. Good thermals and provides excellent display for a build without a GPU

At time of review this is the 3rd cheapest Ryzen available. The two cheaper are 1200 and 2200g, both its predecessors. This as an APU with one intake case fan ran some amazing 1080p/30fps/low detail games. For the price I find it hard to justify anything more powerful if you are attempting any kind of budgeting.

Once paired with a dGPU this became a beast of a gaming setup.

I've made no attempt to overclock it, and have no reason to try yet!

Great budget processor. I purchased the 3000g/3200g/3600 all at the same time for different computers in the home. This one will play all my old games and all the kids games on high settings (FO4/Skyrim/Minecraft/Rocket League). Large heatsinks on ITX boards will require you to have low profile RAM in order to mount the stock cooler on this due to the AMD logo bump. If you aren't running any games or you are on the tightest budget ever, get the 3000g. Anyone looking to minimise, though, this thing will play old or low demand games well, and if you add a GPU, you can game at mid level settings easily.

I got a great deal on this processor from Amazon, can't ask much more from a 4-core processor with APU for $91 USD. For my purposes, this processor suits my needs.

What's not to like about this entry level APU. It's quad core and has integrated graphics. It will handle most everyday tasks without a problem. If your on a budget I believe this is the best bang for the buck.

The 12mm Zen+ version of the workhorse 2200G, it's inexpensive yet responsive. Handles general home and office productivity tasks easily.

Amazing, easily handles the light gaming and everything else with stock fans. Bottlenecked by my RX 570 8gb, so I plan to undervolt it.

from completed build Ryzen 3 3200g ITX build

The new Ryzen 3 3200g is the ideal choice for a budget build. It will handle easily every office task you will trow at it and, when paired with a good set of ram, it will even handle some light gaming. If you are not planning on overclocking, the provided air cooler should be enough. One thing to notice is that the cooler fan shroud (the one with the AMD logo, which is a separate part from the fan) will hit the ram once installed; to solve this problem you can simply remove the fan plastic shroud or you could unscrew the fan and rotate it by 90 degrees, which is what i have done.

Easy to install, the stock cooler keeps it around 55C whilst under load. Very good paired with my 1650 super.
