I won this in a case modding competition, otherwise I bet I would have never bought one. But this thing is actually bad ***. The performance is definitely up there with the H100i's and NZXT AIO 240 coolers. The mounting design is unique but very easy to install. The units seems well made. The fans are a little loud for me but they are manageable with software pwm control.

Great look! Hell to mount as a intake in push config. Add ½ star if you want this as an exhaust in push. Doesn't cool quite as good as other 240mm CLCs. But price is in line with that.

Fans aren't the quietest but its def good value and looks good. ONLY WISH SOMEONE SAID IT HAS A PULSING LED? Annoying - I wish it was on constantly.

also beware of the height of the heatsink as the "visual" tube hit the fans on my ITX case until I got a new mobo and could install on a different rotation.

Absolutely love this little guy. It's kept my CPU extremely cool even while streaming and gaming, and it's so quiet I can't ever hear it. The red see-through tube, and the pulsing LED light, along with the great price are some the main things that made me have to have this. I almost gave this a four star because I really, really hate the ribbed black plastic tubing they used. This thing would look like it cost well over $100 if they had used a bit better looking tubing. I really can't complain too much though with all the other good things going for it.

After researching different cooling options I decided on Deepcool Captain all in one water cooler. It simply looks awesome, the light on the water block pulses and since the CPU is the heart of the PC it gives a good beating heart feel to the whole system. I mounted it on the top of the case in a pull configuration so that the radiator is easier to see and clean.

The only downside to this cooler would be that there is no software integration for a smarter cooler so I had to program the settings with the motherboard's AI Suite.

Bought the 240mm for $73.49 as I was unsure if a 360mm would fit my case. It would have.

Q: Why choose liquid cooling over the much more reliable fan coolers? A: My decision was influenced by my girlfriend.

Q: Would you recommend this part? A: Yes, I would, but not religiously. There are tons of other options out there, but getting this product is not a terrible idea.

    Pros:

    • Fans provide a large amount of airflow

    • Came with a fan hub

    • Cheaper than Corsair

    • Breathing red light on the pump

    • Fans have rubber corners

    • Sticker included

    • Thermal paste included

    Cons:

    • Tubes feel really delicate and seem to be made of cheap plastic

    • Fans are really loud

    • Bulky water block/pump

    • Difficult to install (as a whole)

    • Breathing red light is uncontrollable

    • Sticker included is oversized

    Substitutes:

    • The Deepcool Captain 360 if your case supports it

    • All-In-Ones by Corsair and NZXT are much more aesthetically pleasing

    • Air coolers such as the Cryorig H5 or be quiet! Dark Rock Pro

A very good looking aio cooler that offer great performance for a small price. It can be a little noisy when under stress, but still remain barely noticeable.
