Great little motherboard. Has worked well the year and a half.

It was a hard mission to find a haswell itx that is overclock-able. They were either too pricey or not available anywhere. Found a sweet deal on ebay for $100 and couldn't pass on that. Asus laid out everything perfectly, there were no strange locations at all.

Has everything I wanted in a Broadwell supporting mITX motherboard; overclocking, M.2 port, built in WiFi, and good fan speed control, brilliant.

While the mini-itx form does limit multiple GPUs, amount of RAM, number of fan headers, SATA drives, and so on, this mobo is very well made and does feature a M.2 slot (albeit hidden on the rear of the board, requiring a full removal should I ever go down that road) and a very good, very fast, dual band wifi card. It's odd that many full-sized mobos don't come with a wifi card, so another plus for the mini-itx form.

A bit pricey for what it is, but it can take full length 2080 or 2060 M.2's.

Very nice - because it's so tiny, it's fairly easy to understand what everything is, and where everything goes. The Asus Easy-Bios is an absolute joy for a novice like me - shows all the fans are working in a lovely, reassuring graphic of a spinning fan (obviously) and it's very easy to rearrange the boot-up order.

I tried out three boards from Microcenter...I tried the gigabyte + Asrock mini itx z97s...both were okay but this Asus is polished. From the Bios to the support and the placement of ports on the motherboard it is perfect. Mini itx because of its size has to give up some things that larger boards have...But with a cpu and two case fan headers this thing is well done. I would have appreciated six sata ports instead of 4, but I plan to add a M.2 at some point which further gives this board exceptional customization.

Has every feature I've been craving for the last 5 years. 4 sata ports and an m.2 port if needed. Asus does really well with drivers, I only had a few small hiccups and I think they were Windows 10 related anyway. Bios is very clear and only one page.

from completed build Nano S 2017 - Main build

One of the best Z97 ITX motherboards with a solid WiFi connection. The design is decent as well, compared to other older boards. I play games using the WiFi without any ping/connection problems - in general just a really sweet board.
