This case still holds it's own in 2019. There has been a lot of advancements, but for Thermals and Flat out cooling it beats most of the newer cases. Aesthetics.. well you have to not want window, shroud, RGB. Cooler Master has advanced with the times and has versions of (Master Case) if you want all that but it will not be at a valuable price to performance ratio any longer. If you want a similar option to the new (Master Cool) series check out *Deep Cool Matrexx, much better price point IMO.

I had this case since Feb 2010. There have been other cases that caught my attention but the I rather not spend the money. In 2010, the early versions was old Aluminum inside and no window side. I found one at my local PC store (Altex) and swap sides (the old side went on the other side... see pics). Since it is old, the Front I/O Panel does not come with USB 3.0 so I bought a Front Panel 2.5" 3.0 Hub to go with the Current MB.

Air flow through this case is great. I wanted an inexpensive case that looked good and was very practical. This case checked all the boxes.

Amazing case. Only thing that could be improved on is a tad bit more room on the cable management side. Other than that it would be hard to beat. I am also 98% sure HAF stands for Heavy As ****...

Great case to build in, lack of USB 3.0 is an immediate con - not enough to skip buying this case if it goes on sale. Great cable management.

The hidden gem of my build. I cannot rave enough about how much I enjoy this case. The newer addition comes with a USB 3.0 on the front and the design of the case allowed for a relatively easy, spacious build with good cable management throughout. I would highly recommend this to any first time builder. It is a bit big/bulky and the "H.A.F." on the side panel seems a bit childish, however for the price and the quality, I can't bring myself to deduct a star.

One of the best low-mid budget mid tower cases around, the Cooler Master HAF 912 is a great case for the price. Two included 120mm fans (one front and one back mounted) that are fairly quiet and provide decent air flow keep all the components cool. It comes with a plethora of drive mounts, some of which can be removed to accommodate large graphics cards such as mine, and the tool-less bay design is very easy and intuitive to work with. All that aside, this case is also very attractive and stylish. The only negatives in my mind are the lack of any front USB 3.0 ports (but I knew that was the case upon purchase) and the air filters, which aren't so much filters as they are large-holed mesh screens. Overall an excellent purchase, would recommend to anyone looking for a good high air flow budget case.

Case: Such an awesome case, great for cable management, lots of room, and can mount 6 fans!

Its a case that fits all of my parts, was cheap, and has good airflow. Radiator support isn't so good, cable management isn't great, and the steel interior is butt ugly. There are currently better options out there for the retail price of $60 but if you can get it on super sale, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger.
