This beauty cost and arm and a leg but now that i use 1440p resolution 1080p on a 25+ inch screen looks gross.

This card is awesome. I originally was worried that I wouldn't be able to play Skyrim at 1440p with ENBs, but this card performs!! 50+ FPS in Skyrim with all my mods even outdoors and in cities, and all my other games are well over 60 fps @ 1440p. I was able to overclock it a little bit, even more than the factory settings without changing the power target or the voltage.

I had a bit of an issue with the temperature on these as I had them both right beside each other because I thought the space in my case wouldn't let me have them apart. Turns out I can just barely fit one lower down, fixed the temperatures on the cards but now my SSD runs a little hot, it's within acceptable ranges though!

The cards themselves perform amazingly, there isn't a game I've tried where having maxed out settings brings the framerate below 60. I tend to keep AA and those types of things off because I don't really notice any difference between the setting being on or not, when those settings are off I haven't seen games dip below 100 except where they're locked!

These cards in SLI run everything I throw at them... well at least for the next 6 months lol.

Very silent at non gaming condition. The fan barely spin 60% while gaming at 4k at 1450 mhz overclock.

Beastly card, looks absolutely awesome with its pipes, and takes everything I throw at it like a champ, even in 1440p (or in Skyrim's case 3620x2036 DSR). Gonna get a backplate for this soon to seal the deal.

I ordered this GPU after GTX 1080 announced and I grabbed this one only for £200 (Brand New), so I ordered MSI SLI Bridge (I have one already and I loved it) so I can do SLI. Lets see if I find one for £180 or less. Now performance wise I am unable to tell any difference because my MSI GTX 960 SLI produce the similar results as this one. I know its because of 1080p monitor limitation.

Great GPU, good manufacturer overclock, with a lot more overclocking potential. Quiet even at high loads.

1080p 60fps no problem and silent

I don't like red and wish there were more color options available; I also wish there was a backplate. I haven't tried overclocking yet. This was the cheapest 980 available at the time and works fine.
