Now this can was a black horse at audiophile world. A nice wide soundstage for immersive gaming with good amount of bass. For music maybe the high a bit on the harsh side. Please give this can a try you will be blown.

These cans have an incredible premium feel to them. Pads are so comfortable I can wear them for hours. The highs and mids are very accurate and for an open back design these cans provide a great amount of tight bass. Highly recommended. Would buy again.

Chose to go this route over A50s - sound seems better in these premium headphones, despite them not being 7.1 dolby

Open, airy sound, meaty bass, and a fun sound signature. Very comfy too! I'm using Brainwavz round memory foam pads at the moment. I've had these since Feb. 2016 and they're still holding up!!
I got the SMSL M8 DAC and Little Dot 1+ with the expectation that the X2s would be a temporary pair, i.e. something I'd replace soon. I liked the X2s too much to upgrade. Yes, that combination is overkill, but now I'm futureproof
I'd like to upgrade to a pair of Sundaras in the future.
