The SSD was chosen because it was on sale on Black Friday, and I knew I wanted an SSD. I bought it without much consideration. It's fast and it works well.

Only $65 this thing is a steal. Fast, good size and looks awesome especially in a building that has the SSD on display

Really pleased with this SSD. I originally purchased a Samsung 850 Evo, which gave me nothing but hassles and was RMA'd within 4 days. Replaced it with the PNY and have not had any issue at all. The red stripe can create a design element consideration though if the SSD is to be seen and red is not in your system's color scheme. I had to paint the stripe silver on mine to make it match the rest of the system.

Picked this up at a good price a while back. Using this drive to store my games and other large files. Works great for what I need it to do.

This SSD is getting speeds just slightly higher than those of my HDD. I have it plugged into the correct SATA port and its firmware is up to date. I'm not sure what else to do about it other than call it a bad SSD.

Update: I used AS SSD to further investigate and the other benchmark must have been wrong. According to AS SSD this drive is getting better speeds than most Samsung EVO drives.
