The Logitech G400s is my favorite optical mouse. It feels nice, the button placement is very similar to the awesome MX518 I bought for my sister and it has a nice balanced weight to it. I've owned in the past a Razer Deathadder (mouse-click failed after two years), Razer Lachesis (worst mouse ever made) and a Razer Deathadder 3500G where the mouse-click failed after two years as well. Razer makes some neat products... but wow, after trying these mice? I'll still with Logitech Keyboard and Mouse from now on. They have better warranty which also goes to show they know they sell a reliable product. Stay away from Razer Mice.

This is a solid and responsive mouse that feels comfortable in my hand. It would've been nice to receive a braided cable for what I paid, but I am still very satisfied.

Fits perfect in my hand not to big and not to small. The extra 2 buttons on the side are perfect for any extra buttons in games.

ive been using the mx 518 for years and years now, and i finally came across the g400s. Same body style just new internals. had to get it. ive been through 3 mx518 over the years and they're tough but still dont last forever, but the g400s has a faster DPI (if i need it ) and supposedly better internals, great so far, well have to find out!

This is honestly the best mouse ever made in my opinion. It's like a nokia brick phone in durability sense, 2.5+ years of abuse and works better than it did out of the box. It's weighted perfectly, sturdy as an ox, adjustable DPI and works with logitech gaming software for multiple dpi configurations and profiles. I personally think it's a bit ugly, but for the performance and durability it could be neon green and orange for all I care. This mouse will always be my number one back up.
