290x from MSI. Powercolor isn't the best. I wouldn't trust a 290 or 290x from some lower end company, I just wouldn't.

Looking at the prices of the 290x (they all seem to be $330 or more) I'd say skip them and go for a 970 from MSI or Gigabyte. Similar performance with less heat and power consumption.

$300 is my limit i don't have anything more to give i can wait like 3 months and gain the money but something else might come out by that time and possibly lower price i might just do that but my friend said i should look at Amd chipset such as radeon but i don't know i wait and get some more info on the 970 v 290x

As of right now all the 290x are more than $330 so you may want to start thinking about a normal 290.

And every few minutes I'm checking Amazon and Newegg, and I'm noticing more and more item being sold out, so...

your right about the 290x huh i check it like 3 hours ago and it was $289 dang i guess because there running low on stock and are raising the price plus i mostly buy from tigerdirect

An R9 290 or 290x, but the lowest price before mail-in rebate for a 290x is 310 (290 after). Most 290s are below 300.

Here is a couple links to those, as well as the 310 290x:

the prices are good but the gigabyte cards are running slow on core clock will they be able to keep a stead 45 fps rate in 1440p on games like bioshock, and day-z

I don't know, to be honest. I'd think a solid r9 290 would be your best best as far as performance generally goes with your budget, and it has 4GB vRAM standard that you're looking for, whereas you have to pay extra to get it on the others. With the markup for more vRAM, might as well go with the more solid card overall with the vRAM standard you are looking for.

do you think i should get the powercolor 290 or different company maybe as zotac or asus

I think the ASUS card I linked to in the first post is the most solid bet as to performance.

i would say a 290x since it does better at 4k and neck and neck with a 970 at 1440p on some games. and there down to $280 with 4 free games that can be sold for around $35 if you dont want them. i also have the msi 290 twin frozr and love that cooler.

you can get 970 for the price of just a regular 780 so i would go with the 970 if i had the price range
