A little GPU overheating...

So my GPU normally idles at 32C, which is pretty good. Up until this point I have had no trouble with it at all. However, today my GPU randomly starting idling at almost 50C. It went up to 72C while I was playing some Planetside 2 and hasn't lowered past 45C. Any thoughts on what might be the problem?

Has anything inside your case changed? Did your ambient temps get hotter?

Haven't touched my case. Today was warm, maybe that's it?

Probably just that, depending on how hot ambient temps were

I think that may have just been it, it's down to 40C now that it's a pretty cool day.

If you have not dusted the fan blades or the GPU heatsink check that.

They are both clean, I think it may have just been ambient temps.
