i built my computer about a month ago now and im starting to save up for a gpu, i'm looking for one about £100 to £150. it needs to run bf4 on good settings at above 40fps and new games with not much lag, also can it be a nvidia card thanks

Depends on your settings. Seems to do pretty well on high settings.
