The V35 is still a pretty recent phone. What's the reason for an upgrade?

Why not?

Seems like a waste of money to get rid of a phone that only came out a year ago.

Any upgrades that you get from a newer phone will be minuscule.

Hmm... fair. Do you think it currently would be worth replacing a phone like a Galaxy S8?

Not really. The S8 is still a great phone. Not worth upgrading.

Like I said, phone upgrades over the past few years have been negligible in the grand scheme of things.

Seconded, the S8 was a fantastic phone for me. If I didn't need to switch to iPhone for reliability reasons I would have definitely kept it for another year or two.

I'm still rocking the S7 and likely will for a couple more years.

People upgrade phones far too often. But, support the market, I suppose.

Very true, I mean I really don't have any issues with it, just the battery is probably why I would get a new phone.

At home on WI-FI is fine, 5+hrs of screen on time, but if I go out off WI-FI onto LTE, standby is awful and I'm lucky if I get 3hrs SOT.

Otherwise its a great phone and I can't get over that beautiful design.

The LG V35 has a Snapdragon 845, why would you want to upgrade? Seems like a waste of money to me.

I've got the pixel 2xl and love it. Great phone, loads of nifty features. the google assistant is amazing, and miles better than siri. it's got a great camera and display. Well worth it.

don't get a phone. wait for 5g to roll out. then take a look at your options.

I couldnt care less about 5G

Yet you seem to care about upgrading from a phone that isn't even a year old... For no reason whatsoever?

Why is it so forbidden to upgrade a phone that has a 2017 design

It came out in 2018.

Why does it matter when it was designed if it still works well?

The SR-71 was designed in the 50s and is still the fastest jet plane ever made...

I would like something new, the design still works but atleast it will be different... Its not like im going from a X to a XS or S8 to S9

Pixel 3 is the boss. It's amazing, and there are always deals, like one time there was a $400 off deal.
