It's going for a more "rainbow' design over more power. Any opinions or changes to make it look cooler, cheaper, or more powerful?
Here what I came up with from your budget. fast CPU and better GPU. You won't be able to see the power supply anyway, so I got you a much more reliable unit. Let me know what you think.

The GSkill kit I listed I believe is on the QVL list for that motherboard. You pay a total of $45 extra for the 2nd gen ryzen cpu and faster memory. If you cut back on the peripherals it fits in the budget presented and you will definitely see a gain in gaming.
As to the keyboard and mouse, if its your thing go for it. I personally think its way overpriced especially for non mechanical. I've used the cooler master combo I listed for a while now and it has been excellent for typing and gaming. If you really want to spend that much on non mechanical, Corsair has a starter bundle going for ~$100 right now with keyboard, mouse, headset, and mat.
