Goal: Create a computer in which to run Star Citizen, Cyberpunk 2077, VR Ready (for HTC Vive to work) sometimes use Photoshop (Videos, images, graphics), Recording and rendering Vids, create Unity games etc.

Budget: 1700 - 1800 Euro

Location: Poland (Can be German price tag)

Peripherals required (monitor, keyboard/mouse, etc): Any Recommendations would be awesome

Operating System required: n/a

I am currently holding on while playing games because the only computer I have at the moment is a notebook ASUS G750JZ and its at the point where it starts not keep up with games in which I would like to play. The above notebook is just an example of what can somewhat run Star Citizen. For anyone wishing to help with this, i will be greatly thankful for your time in helping me (and i think not only me) with this issue!

Thanks for reading!

probably a bit overkill lol. i tried to go intel but the budget didn't allow for it. Some parts might not be super optimized since your budget's pretty big

This will work great for your use case. The Ryzen 7 will be awesome for rendering and the 2080 will be able to chew through anything you throw at it.

Your going to need 32gb of mrmory for soon comming out VR games.

SychicMind 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

16gbs is going to be enough for a while because game makers also need to accommodate for older systems

Zerk2012 1 Build 1 point 2 months ago

Not for VR their already saying 16gb will not be enough for the new games comming out.

I was trying to get a 9700k or 8700k system but that needed an extra cooler whereas ryzen comes with a pretty good stock cooler
