Would you prefer AMD or Nvidia and why?

With AMD you can get a very decent freesync monitor and gpu pairing for significantly less than a Nvidia gsync monitor and gpu pairing. Any sync tech maintains smooth gameplay regardless of fps. Since you had the budget I went for a matches 1440p and vega 56 pairing.
