About the New GPUs

Judging by what JayzTwoCents had to say about his opinion, are the new lineup of GPUs worth getting or not? He basically said that there's 20% gain between the newest and older generation, but their prices isn't justifiable to their gain.

The 2080 Ti is the best card for gaming, if you have enough money to get that and a $2000 4K 144Hz monitor, then get it. The 2080 is slightly better than a 1080 Ti but is usually more expensive, if you find it at the same price then the 2080 will be better

but their prices isn't justifiable to their gain.

Those higher prices are going to be the new normal for U.S. purchasers because of the tariffs going into place, comparing them to older cards which were all brought over before tariffs were adding to the costs is going to make the older cards look great for the price.

But those older cards are only a limited time deal, as soon as the stock runs out they any newer production of them will see increases in pricing if they are even still in production.
