Hi guys I have just recently done a PC build for gaming. At the moment I chose to run a 500Watt coolermaster lite PSU. So what I run is a Deepcool tesseract case, Gigabyte Z370P D3 mobo, gigabyte OC4GB graphics card, crucial 8GB RAM DDR4 Intel I5 8th gen CPU with standard cooler 2 normal case fans and 3 different brand cooler fans, a Internal HDD/SSD 2TB storage and LG optical drive and am planning to use an LG 21.5inch monitor with cooler master devastator MK3 keyboard sand TP link adapter. I wanna run a thermal take 750W PSU eventually so I Dunn if a 500 watt PSU is enough to fully run my build.

Should I run a more powerful PSU or is 500W enough to run this because when I started it up for the first time one of my cooling fans ran then stopped and then once the system fully ran it started back up again

Nope 500W is more then enough. Even with a very good 450W/550W psu you can run a 8700k and 1080ti with it.

750W if for when you run 1080 ti's in sli.

You could take a look at the estimated PCPP wattage calculator.

It says 230 Watt (estimated)

In reality it would be less that 200 Watt.

So, you are more than fine. :)

Ok thankyou so much for the help. I decided to order 750watt PSU as back up encase if needed anyway so yeah but fair enough
