One immediate thing that could be changed is you could bring the graphics down to something like an RX 570 or a GTX 1060 3GB and then take the extra money and put it into a Ryzen 5 CPU. It's all a matter of preference, really.

Some Intel B150 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaby Lake-S CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.

That's a common message when you're working with newer CPUs. A BIOS flash isn't particularly difficult and you might not even have to do it at all. It's a chance I would be willing to take, but I can definitely understand if you don't.

It's quite difficult to do, you need a older CPU to update it. You can't update it with a CPU that isn't compatible. Also a lot of b150 boards likely won't work out of the box with Kabylake since b250 boards totally replaced them.
