Good tier 2 power supply that is a great base for either a budget or enthusiast build.

Personally I would not touch a refurbished part, if one part is faulty there may be more. Spend an extra $20 or so and get a new one, that way it will have a warranty as well.

I personally buy alot of things refurbished, and haven't been burned yet. I know its more likely to fail but until something goes bad for me ill keep risking it lol.

Fair enough, I wish your luck continues!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe many refurbished parts still come with a warranty.

If it's refurbished by corsair it does, Idk about this part but corsair usually keeps the warranty on refurbed parts

Refurbished parts go through more rigorous testing/inspection and therefor are usually just as good if not better than the original

As I said, I personal would not trust them.

I understand, just thought I would inform you.

This appears to be last-gen. The newer TX series is 80+ bronze.

Still a decent deal if you don't mind refurb.
