I was wondering what the best £600 gaming pc could be. I would want a nzxt s340 designed by razer, an Asus z170-a motherboard, an rx 480 or strix 980 at least 8gb of ram either a be quiet dark rock 3 or a noctua NH U12s I would also like a fully modular psu

What you're asking for will not fit in you budget, I suggest you either increase it or cut back on a few things.

As invader said, you can't get all you want in that budget, for 600 I can get this (presuming no monitors, keyboards, mouse and operating system are required)

I can get you the case, video card and power supply, but you won't get your motherboard in. You could increase your processor to an i5 if you were willing to go for a cheaper case and a semi modular power supply

I'm pretty sure the CSM series are also a budget series and aren't that good

One simply can not make a computer with the specs you said and the budget you gave. This is similar to TheAcornBender's build but with the i5, case you asked for, and a fully modular PSU. However I put the R9 390 in as it is similar in performance (if not better) to the RX 480 and cheaper, but the total is still over
