Hi m8 made a few changes.

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Donnerdog/saved/#view=nFpCmG

CPU-The 6700k is the best cpu for gaming but because you are going to be editing the 2 extra cores will help a lot and i would suggest oc it so 3.9ghz.

Cooler-One of the best ones in my opinion.

MOBO-Really good mobo i couldn't fined a white one that i liked but you might be able to but i would keep this one.

RAM-Because you are going to be editing you need 32gb of ram you could use the ram you had but i got this cus it has a lower cas but you wont be able to see much of a performance hit.

Storage-Two 2TB HD and a 1TB SSD.

GPU-I was really excited when this model of 980ti came out because RGB man the fans have cool RGB lights on them and the one in the middle goes backward (supposedly helping air flow) plus its a great ocer.

Case-My fav high-end case =) you can change the color if you want.

PSU-850w Platinum will be great.

Monitor-1440p 27" IPS 144hz wish i had one =P

Peripheral-Put in some things i like you can change them.

GL m8 if you have any question plz feel free to ask.

Since your are doing editing, I change to a higher core CPU. I still stick with your black and white theme though. I don't think you need black series hdd so I changed it to Blue series. Your PSU choice is really to small, go for 1000W or higher for overclocking headroom.

This is really my dream build, please do post on PCPP when you finish your build. Good luck.

You should get a single 500gb ssd

  • 1 point

Yes, I should. But it is follow the original build. I also don't understand why he get 2 250gb instead of 1 500gb. I imagine that's something beyond my understanding so I just follow.
