SP or AF

I am using the NZXT s340 and it has a tight fit for fans in the front. Should I get airflow fans or static pressure fans? Thanks in advance!

SP or AF

none

Corsair fans with great airflow and SP are loud and the silent one are.......... Use 140mm fans instead of 120mm as they move more air at less rpms translating to a more silent fan. This are nice fans with leds and have decent airflow and static pressure.

Static pressure optimized fans push air through resistance like filters and grilles and tight spaces better. They also can spin slower and quieter and still get acceptable flow when there are restrictions. Use them for intake, CPU coolers, and radiators. They will usually have static pressure above 1.5 mm H2O. Slower extra quiet ones may be as low as 1 mm H2O.

Airflow optimized fans are better for moving air when there is little restriction. This includes exhaust or directing air within the case at hot sports. Pressures usually below 1 mm H2O.

As pegotico said, get 140 mm fans when you can, because they move more air at slower and quieter speeds. The Aerocool DS-140 is a good option. Noctua also has more expensive but possibly quieter options if you need a silent build: https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/case-fan/#m=99&s=140

Would corsair SP120 be a good option?

SP 120 high performance are loud but make good pressure at 3.1 mm H2O.

SP120 quiet edition are much quieter (lol) but are relatively weak with only 1.29 mm H2O.

The quiet ones will still be okay right?

They will work fine. Get the SP140 quiet edition if you can, because they will work better.
