Oh? Hm... I'm not sure if I've known such a version. but I remember 2010 and 2013. Otherwise having one of those two should still work good if the Operating System is Windows 10. I think anything 2010 Starter Office and below can have some troublleshooting if have Windows 10. Best wishes to you both and great job for making this new computer for him. It will serve him well.

Oh it should as long it's 2010 and above. :) Other versions can too, but I heard a lot of troubleshooting in the past (depending on what's happen) or until someone buys a new one down the road.
