I know exactly what you're talking about, but I think in my case, I would actually connect the two GPU;s by tubing, since the original use of my tubing (rigid acrylic), was to serve as an SLI connector. Bitspower came up with it, and called it crystal link tubing, but then I found this guy in Europe that made longer length acrlyic tubing with same dimensions as bitspower (E22 Tubing), so I bought his tubing, and bitspower's crystal link fittings, and it worked!
