If that happens Nvidia is in for a shitstorm. I really hope that happens, because it would put AMD back on the map as far as high performance gaming goes.

Hopes and dreams I think. I want AMD to do this so badly, but it all comes down to what they are capable of. It's been so long since they were in the discussion...

I keep loyally buying AMD cards though. Their open source policy has me heating my small office with my 390x.

I would like to say that it isn't about being cheaper, but it likely will come down to that with most pc builders. I choose AMD because of their open-source contributions. Nvidia using proprietary software exclusive to their own hardware hurts gaming more than it helps.
