Amazon Prime Support Added

philip

Nov. 18, 2013

I'm pleased to announce that we now list Amazon Prime eligibility for parts!

We have added an extra sortable column on part category lists that shows Prime eligibility. Additionally, you can set your price preferences to indicate you are a Prime member, in which case it will automatically convert the corresponding Amazon prices to free shipping. Right now this functionality is US-only, but we're looking into including this information for Amazon outside the US as well.

As a 1 mo old Amazon Prime member, I really appreciate that...it helps me out in a small way, but any way that helps (no matter the amount) is a blessing. Thank you! (Now if I can just finish doing the research on some mobos and pricing for some RAM, I'll finalaly be on my way...)

You should add ShopRunner support next! And many links to parts on amazon have incorrect prices/shipping, there should be a link to update the amazon kink to the real price.

Shoprunner is something we're looking into. (EDIT: found a bug with the Amazon pricing - working on a fix now.)

That is very nice. Waiting impatiently for Canada to be included. Also wondering when my pcpartpicker account will automatically change region to Canada when logging in.

I think that they should add the xspc watercooling kits so that we have a more diverse way to cool our computers

Could you add the Hadron Air and Hydro cases, instead of having just a case called the hadron

Please move this topic to the "Part Requests" Forum.

Is there also a feature for seeing the status of the drone?

When we get API access for that, you bet. :)

Are you joking or being serious? I honestly don't know if it's a joke or a legitimate attempt for delivery, but is obviously not going to succeed at the moment. Definitely is setting a new shipping milestone.

Oh, totally joking. Though if it ever did see fruition, and they had an API for it, you can bet we'd implement it. It'd be too fun not to.

Haha yeah I know, right

Thanks as a Prime member this is great. If you are open to feature requests I would like to see a way to order the case list by size. Both a single dimension and total volume. Yes that might not be practical if APIs are not available to support it.

I would like to see you add support for rack mount cases More expansion cards like raid, USB, SATA, and so on Hot swapable driver bays water cooling parts outside of AIO solutions. Things like rads, waterblocks, pumps and so on. Server motherboards including duel CPU boards. BTW I know that you can not do everything at once and that my suggestions would help a small subset of users so no rush.

Could you add "add additional video card" to your System build section? Thanks for your consideration.

Hey guys, I was hoping someone could help me figure out what PSU I need for this build: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/Michael_1998/saved/2YRA This is my first build and I want to make sure I'm getting all the right parts. Any help I would be very grateful for. Thanks in advance.

Looking into it now...

Ok, the reason why that one is showing out of stock is that their stock data says "futureDate" - basically that it isn't available now but it'll be available later. We treat that as out of stock, since it won't ship immediately. (Amazon's site says that it'll ship Nov. 29th. However the stock data we get does not specify a date for us.)
