Description

Hello, everybody! this is my new case the NZXT S340 Black/Red Edition. I love this case so much, I mainly bought it for the PSU shroud so I could I hide all the cables. which (worked out very well by the way.) I also bought an EPS sleeved extension to put more red on the top left of the case and I also bought some cable combs straighten out the cables. I had one problem when moving the motherboard to NZXT case, the motherboard standoffs got stuck on the bottom of my motherboard from my old case (which was a pain by the way.) BBut, in the end, it was all worth it. I am very happy with how everything turned out. One thing I don't like about the case is that I can only put one fan on the top, but apart from that I love this case.

This looks great.. Love the red and black. +1

May I ask how the V300 240gb is doing in terms of speed? I've heard bad reviews but, I'm really not sure HOW bad it really is

It's really fast, I've had no problems with. I'd buy it again.

Love the build! may i recommend some 3M double sided sticky tape for your ssd for a more cleaner look! https://www.amazon.com/3M-Heavy-Mounting-1-Inch-50-Inch/dp/B00004Z4A8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1471671933&sr=8-4&keywords=double+sided+tape

how did you get the motherboard standoffs removed from your motherboard

I got a spanner and tightened it onto the standoff under the motherboard and unscrewed the screw from the top of the motherboard.

Love the build, but the cable combs dont really fit to me. I just ordered some i found on another build that you might like, its from http://www.ensourced.net/ they have godly looking cable combs. You get rid of all the spacing the cablemod combs put between the wires and give it a cleaner look

The cable combs are just temporarily just to train them.

Nice build i love it , but just a tip .. I have the same fans and case and you can fit the controller in the back of the case easy :)

I know, I have plenty of space to put it in the back, but like it there because I change the speeds and all the colours. I'm going to buy some double sided tape and stick it on there.

2 small complains: that sata power pin connector on the psu shroud and the tiwrap.

are the hdd's in raid 0 or raid 1?

hmm idk if it is the picture but is your gpu sagging?

One HDD is for games storage etc, the second HDD is for backups since I don't need that much storage, also my GPU is sagging.
