started out with the processor, the mobo, ram, HDD, and a GTX 750ti. the rest has all been upgraded in the time since I started building this in December 2014.
after two years I am finally done upgrading and will be using this build for the next three to four years until I am done with school.
This is a gaming PC and a PC I can do my CSC homework on and solid works/CAD
The pictures will show that the two RX 480's are not both reference. One card in is the sapphire nitro 8gb not OC.
the mobo doesn't run Xfire in the optimum X8,X8 mode but I have not had any problems with crossfire on this build.
The i5 I have overclocked to 4.2 and I don't see any reason to go beyond that in the next year or two.
I love Logitech keyboards and mice and I am a HUGE fan of this Orion spark keyboard... so pretty and comfortable.
The Ernemax case is very nice and has lots of room for everything and great expandability options.
the ADATA SSD is the only part I am not so sure of. It is quick and does everything I need it to but the reviews say they die kind of quickly. I have only had it for three months(as of early January 2017) and I have had no problems with it.
Added a 80mm fan in the 5.25 drive bays using some foam I had laying around to hold it in place.
Great. OC to 4.2 With low budget aftermarket cooler.
Its not a whole lot better than a stock cooler but it did allow me to overclock a little bit more.
old but good
have had these for two years and have had no problems
cannot overclock but cheap and works well enough for gaming
very fast and cheap mine has worked for a year
have had it for two years no issues
i have two for crossfire and it is incredible. you cannot beat this performance for $240
everything you need and more for a pc case. comes with a fan and tooless mounting is really nice.
using it for a crossfire RX 480 build and works great!
