Description

This is my first build, I had a little bit of help with this. It was originally a $1200 build but for some reason most of my parts dropped in prices and my instinct just came in and made me buy it right away for a total of $900, I would be crazy if i didn't take it right? lol During the build i kind of screwed up with the wiring, I'll post pictures later. I tried fixing it but it was impossible for me because the psu cable to the motherboard wouldn't come off, i didn't want to break my motherboard, so i just left it. I've had this build for about 2 weeks and so far, it runs my games like a champ. and that's all i do. GAME GAME GAME GAME!! Overall this was a fun build :D wish I could do it all over again.

For $900 can't beat this build, good job.

How do you like that keyboard? I'm considering buying it. Looks like a nice build though, really balanced.

I love it so far, no problems at all. But it'll take some getting use to. It's much small then usual. When i first used it, it took me only 2 days because i was constantly on it. It was such a difference that everybody, which is 10+ people, that used it said that it felt weird and they couldn't type right. that's the only con and it just takes some getting use to. But well worth it. I recommend it.

Alight sounds good. Do the LED keys look really red? They look pretty sweet in the pictures.

It shines just bright enough, nothing real fancy, you can say it's dark red. but I'm happy with the way it shines.

I would go insane having two different size screens. U should've gone with a K cpu so u can overclock it more! Also I'm not a fan of that case, it's kinda expensive for that price :I , but other than that awesome build! There was a 7870 that was on sale for 170 i believe that was better than HIS but i forgot what brand... What kind of mouse do u have? U didn't list it :(

Shouldve spent the extra 2o bucks for a 3570k

The 750w psu is overkill, a 550w XFX Pro would have been plenty for that setup, you really don't need a 750w until you step into the realms of crossfiring 7870's. The SSD is a good choice though, the Samsung's are good quality :)

I would've gotten a bigger SSD, but either way, great build and happy gaming!

How do you like the 21.5" monitor? I'm considering buying it.

It's an awesome monitor, no problems to me. 5 Stars out of 5. My brother also has the same monitor.

Case looks awful in my opinion. If I were you I would lose the ssd and get a better graphics card. Why'd you go with such a cheap mobo? Also you could of gotten a lot more performance out of an i5-2500k or 3570k with a custom cooler, than the one you chose.

I forgot to include this but i was on a $900 budget at first, and i got out of hand by going over by $300. All I am going to do is Game, I figured I would only need to get a cpu and gpu that is capable of what I need to do. The MOBO works just fine, I run BF3 on ultra without any hiccups. Yes, this case does not look that good but at first I thought it was pretty cool, until i kept looking at it.
